Get dialed

One question to a screen, each one a tap, and only the last needs an answer. Your sizes decide what reaches you, so nothing arrives that you could not have bought.

Step 1. What boot size do you ski?

Mondopoint is the one boot size every brand agrees on. Set it and a boot deal only reaches you while your size is still on the shelf.

Mondopoint is your foot's length in centimetres, not your shoe size: stand with your heel against a wall and measure to the longest toe. Most skiers land a full size under their street shoe, and any bootfitter will measure it free. You can leave this and add it on your profile later. How a size decides what reaches you.

Step 2. What lengths would you ski?

Most skiers buy within 10 cm of their own height: chin height for a carver, forehead or over it for powder. Pick every length you would actually buy, because a closeout rarely has more than one.

Step 3. What brake widths do your bindings need?

A brake has to clear the ski's waist and still close, within 10 mm of the waist under your foot: narrower will not go on, much wider drags in a turn. Pick a width for every ski you would mount.

Step 4. What size shell do you wear?

Outerwear is the first thing to sell out in the middle sizes and the last to drop in the ends. Jacket and pant are asked separately because plenty of people are not the same in both.

Step 5. Where would it ship?

Half the deepest prices are in another country. We ask so prices show in your currency, so a store that will not ship to you is marked, and so a cross-border deal carries the landed estimate: shipping, duty and tax to your door, not the sticker.

The carrier's invoice is final; our figure is an estimate from the store's shipping table, the published duty and tax rules and the ECB rate.

Step 6. Where should the board reach you?

One account holds your sizes so they follow you off this browser. The Thursday digest is free and nothing is sent to you until you use the link we send.

Sizes are kept in this browser as you answer and leave it only when you finish: the address, the four sizes beside it and the country. Membership opens with billing; the free Thursday digest does not.
